Founder of Gram Swaraj Sangh
Late Shree Manibhai Sanghavi – Pujya Bapuji has given his great contribution in this area of Vagad – Kutch. Her wife Late Shri Sushilaben Sanghavi has given support whole life to Pujya Bapuji in his busy life and taken care that Pujya Bapuji can do all the work for the society. After demise of Sushilaben – family decided to initiate some noble work in memory of SUSHILABEN and this is the inception of SUSHIL TRUST.
During more than two and half decades SUSHIL trust has witnessed challenges, obstacles and difficulties but due to dedication and true intention to serve poor and marginalized community received support from well wishers and friends to make this journey fruitful.
In 1991, SUSHIL TRUST has initiated community and village level activities – started Bal Mandir (Kindergarten), library and support to needy as per their requirement. In 1994, started work in one of the extreme backward area of Gujarat called Khadir Bet. This Khadir bet is surrounded by desert consisting 12 villages and 7 Vandhs (Hamlet). This population is depend on agriculture which is depends on rain and in this area rain is uncertain which resulted in to draught every alternate year. SUSHIL TRUST has setup center at Ratanpar village. Local community leader Savabhai Ahir ( Sava Patel) donated 8 acres land for this activities and this seed of noble cause inception of “Shree Ramkrushna Dev Campus”.
SUSHIL TRUST’s main office situated at Son Tekari campus of Nilpar which is 70 Km away from RatanparKhadir in north and 140 Km from District place Bhuj in west. ‘‘Swajan Jivan Kendra”also running in Bhuj with some of the activities considering situation and need of that area with coordination with other organisation. So from generous support from well wishers and donors and this triangle of NilparRatanpar and Bhuj.
EDUCATION
Vandh Shala (Hamlet School): Vandh – Hamlets situated mostly away from roads and deprived from basic facilities like water, health and even from school. Sushil Trust started non formal education centers in these vandhs and initiated attempt to mould new generation through education and development of virtues. From past decades Sushil trust runs centers in some of the Vandhs as per need. From the support from Ramkrishna Mission and Ramkrishna Ashram – Rajkot, Sushil Trust is running 3 centers where 200 children from underprivileged section from age group of 6 to 14 years. With basic education of reading and writing also provide activities like good virtuous book reading, inspiring stories of personalities, songs, playing and other recreational activities to mould their life to take them in main stream of society. Due to vulnerable health situation of the children, provided with nutritious food and regular medical check ups.
Ma Sharada Shishu Shala
There are 135 children are studying in standard 4th to 8th in Ratanpar (Khadir) who mostly living in hostel at campus. This is the first flower of the garden of this campus.
Hari Om Vidhya mandir
There are 100 children are studying in standard 9th and 10th and most of children are also residing in hostel of this campus.
Library
Due to circumstances arose; library was closed before 4 years ago in Rapar. It was restarted from month of September 2016 in Rapar town with the view to enhance knowledge and information amongst children through reading.
Shree Shree Chhatralay
This is Boys hostel for standard 4th to 10th and this hostel is integrated with School as per education method of this institution. Sanskar Ghadatar – developing virtues towards molding responsible citizen. With formal education, extra curricular activities are arranged like celebration of various days and festivals, Participation in local fair (Lok Mela), excursion, Bal Mela and workshops on various subjects. With the courtesy of CEE- Ahemdabad , this year arranged Children workshop and children fair including all the children from primary schools of Khadir area. Various recreational and amusement activities arranged for participated almost 300 children which resulted fruitful and useful to both children and teachers. Student of our campus also participated in ‘‘Bal Sanskar Ghadatar Shibir” – (Children Vertues developing workshop) and ‘Swayam Swasth bano Shibir” ( Be Healthy own self) at Nilpar campus.
Narayan Seva And Gauseva
With the generous support from Ramkrushna Ashram – Rajkot, from last 7 years ration kit are being providing to 30 to 32 widows and women from extreme poor condition. New cloths also were distributed to poor family of Vandhs from the support is from Ram Krushna Ashram Rajkot. Sushil trust is being helpful to women from extreme poor condition for construction of house, support for prepare toilet and bathroom etc. Trust also support to arrange exposure visit , tour for these women. Sushil trust also supports for Gaushala and Panjarapol for fodder for cows and birds.
Health
Health camp was arranged with kind support of Shivam Hospital-Ahmedabad and more than 150 patients of various diseases like stones and diabetes were took benefit of it. From Swami Narayan Mandir – Bhuj, eye check up camp was arranged at Sushil trust campus and more than 300 patients were checked and done free of cost surgery of the patients who diagnosed with cataract. Sushil trust also financially supported to 20 patients who had long and expensive treatment.
Support to other Organisations
Sushil Trust support same minded organisations like Ram Krushna Yuvak Mandal- Bhuj, Gram Swaraj Sangh- Nilpar, Shishukunj International and Adivasi Chhatralaya – Manafara.
Arati Foundation is looking after of administration and coordination work of Shree RamKrushna Dev Vidhya Sankul of Ratanpar. Sushil Trust is hearty thankful to Arati Foundation and trustees for taking this responsibilities. Due to all the support from donors and well wishers other activities for education, health, self employment, environment and Gau seva are being held form the Sushil Trust.
